This website is stylized as a news paper that is printed weekly whenever there is something worth printing. I am the sole staff resposible for publishing it and have no set schedule for publishing. It is just a simple record of what I'm reading and my thoughts on it.

Who I am

By day, I'm a scientist at Eastman, in Tennessee, having a lot of fun working on challenging polymer problems. I got my Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue, in Indiana, before that. This paper is what I do with the rest of my attention.

What gets reviewed

Whatever I finished. This means fantasty, science fiction, mystery, thrillers, you name it. If I read it and had something to say, it runs. Nothing get particular attention but I am partial to a long series that keeps me occupied.

How I write about them

Spoilers are almost always flagged at the top of every notice and I keep to them. Persoanlly, spoilers drive me crazy so I promise I won't do that to you.

If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn't brood. I'd type a little faster.— Isaac Asimov

The unfinished

Nothing gets rated that I did not finish. Abandoned books go on the shelf with the page and the reason. I have been wrong about abandoned books before and expect to be again, which is precisely why they don't get a number attached.

Disclosures

Review copies are marked as such on the notice. They do not affect the rating and they do not buy a kind one. Where a link earns anything, it says so on the link. Right now nothing does.

Write to the paper

Corrections, arguments, and recommendations are all welcome, roughly in that order of urgency. [email protected] or subscribe below and reply to any issue.
